Dialysis today went smoothly, and I was comfortable. With the fall last week Wednesday. I am hesitant get on the scale, but I do with help and aid of the staff. Even though the fall had scared me, it has not stopped me from continuing to do my best. The technician Tanya pronounced (Tan Yeah) told me that she noticed that I am getting better with my walking and getting around. Thanks for noticing, Tanya! Jackie agrees with Tanya.
As far the holidays are concerned, having my time on the machines will be Sunday, December 22nd and December 29th, and Tuesday December 24th and December 31st, but back on schedule on December 3rd, and the holidays is finally over, and my life can get back to normal. Today, Jackie hit the nail right on the head when she said she finally understood why I have issues with the holiday season. Being on dialysis for 6 years now since my kidney transplant stopped working correctly in 2019, the change of days and times can be very frustrating and there are many medical rides who do not work on holidays or Sundays, and it puts a damper on my schedule, and I can’t plan to go anywhere out of town or state because my trust in dialysis centers I do not know can be very frustrating for the social worker to find openings for a traveling patient. With my feelings about our dialysis center at MercyHealth is questionable for a very long time now. My trust in medical care at Mercy Hospital and clinics depend heavily on the department and doctors in those departments. I believe that a lot of medical staff do not understand how to deal with their patients or do not listen. I have a love/hate relationship with my caregivers Jackie and Deb every week, my dad and his wife, and my mother and her husband because of the family dynamics are not good in my immediate family ever since I was a little girl. It is not easy raising a handicapped child in a normal household of relatives who are not physically handicapped as well. My parents had there issues to deal with while my brother and I were growing up, divorce and moving from place to place to find happiness. More on my family dynamics another time.
