For some reason, I do not like going to dialysis on odd days as odd days and I never liked each other back in high school…seriously! Although today was Dr. Anjum’s round day, I gave him the riot act about me missing Friday. I rarely miss treatment, and he yelled at me for missing one treatment in months and sending me to the ER for six unnecessary hours and still had to drive home in the dark.
On December 2, 2024, my reaction to not having treatment 5 days was exactly what was expected I was loopy and tired from having a lot of turkey. Just like everyone else on Thanksgiving Day, I ate a lot of turkey! Yeah, I was loopy that day, but when the hospital finally got my labs, I was fine. Missing treatment and getting off early is never a problem with me, so unlike today, I was done at 2 pm, drove home on a nice, sunny day, with Deb walking with me after meeting me at the clinic on the 1st floor level of the garage. I got home at 2:15 pm on the 9th and was ready for bed. Tomorrow, I have an appointment for my nails.
