With this being our second hemodialysis training meeting at Fresenius with the nurse Stephanie, who is training Jackie and Deb, and I, how to use the machine for the home dialysis. Deb was with me at my dentist appointment, but she wasn’t at the dialysis clinic today with Jackie and I today because her son came home for the weekend to get some financial aid business taken care of for college before he headed back Tuesday morning. My ugh, but this is Deb’s only child who is attending college now. She will be back on at the clinic this morning after 10 AM for our next training meeting.  I can live with that. Anyway…

Today’s session went well today until I sneezed and the machine would not stop beeping due to some kind of error that was not clearing up. I suggested using Cathflo in my catheter today when Stephanie the nurse decided to take me off an hour early since I did have 2 1/2 hours of treatment before my sneeze threw the machine off for the last hour of treatment. It was a good treatment today even though we ran into the machine having a little snag with my catheter today. We will resume training tomorrow from 10 AM to 1 PM. We can handle it!
