This is the last Sunday for me and other patients to worry about as our Monday, and Tuesday to be our Wednesday. Whew! What a hassle to go to the clinic during the holiday season. I hate it even though I was not pulling my hair out getting MTM to understand rear YBWF (You Buy We Fly) to understand that does not run on Sundays, and MTM has screwed up more than once not looking into it before booking them. Today, the company vendor was We Care. This company is out of Madison, while YBWF is out of Beloit, Wisconsin. Whew, no anxiety today!
Dialysis went very well, today. I had one of my favorite technicians today. Her name is Mandy. I really like her with Sam, Tiffany the tech and Tiffany the nurse, Chelsey, and Jon. Trey is growing on me, and Tailey, Jon’s daughter who began 2 months ago. The machine beeped a couple of times because of the pressures in the arterial and venous lines were cut off for some reason by moving incorrectly or bumping the lines with my arms. My blood pressure went below 100/50 so I took a pill to bring my pressure up with one hour left to dialyze and my BP stayed at 102/66, and my final BP was 116/60. No major complaints even though, unfortunately my weight is 94 kilograms or 207 pounds. My weight is a little frustrating right now, too.
