Some time ago, for reasons that will become apparent one day in the medium term future (but you might be able to guess) - I became an Apple Developer. Part of what that gives me is the ability to add 'Sign In / Sign Up with Apple' for DearDiary.Net.

So today, dear people, you can now sign up using your Apple Account. This of course goes alongside the ability to Sign Up and Sign In with either your Google or Github account.

If you're already a DD user but want to be able to sign in to your account using either Apple, Google or Github, a new option exists under the Account menu which enables you to see your 'Connected Accounts'. Should you wish to connect a new provider to your account just hit the connect button. You can disconnect again at any time.

This then means you can access your DearDiary.Net account through either your Apple, Google or Github account without having a seperate password. One login, many uses.

I'm hoping this will also enable a raft of new people since they'll be able to easily sign up straight from their iPad or iPhone. On this we shall see 😊
