
The hardware was not set up correctly and the server technicians answer was 'we will need to reload your server'... My response was 'I don't think so - I have 100 customers on there and had no idea the hardware was duff until I tried to use it'. At which point they ignored me for 3 days straight and so I have ordered a new server from a whole new company...
But another move won't happen just yet - I need a vacation first! Though I might just get it over and done with so that I can THEN have a vacation :)
But the next move will be significantly easier because I have checked that the hardware is running properly... And it's twice the spec of machine for the same price - plus has a whole RAFT of other goodies to make my administrative life a LOT easier.

I for one never doubted your ability to get us up and running again, and I also know the precarious nature of computers in general.
Sorry it's been such a rough time for you and whenever you DO go on vacation, have a lovely time!
