Over the last couple of days I've quietly released some small behind the scene fixes.

• Images with captions was broken - specifically the caption part was rendered just as any other paragraph. Unfortunately this was an error in the way the editor generates the HTML to display. This does mean that if you've saved an entry with a picture that you chose to set the caption on, you'll need to open it up and resave it again. You don't need to edit anything, and the editor will display it correctly - re-saving it will cause it to re-export the entry correctly.
• Bullet lists were broken (for however long I don't know) in that selecting the 'list' option from the editing toolbar would select the first paragraph in the entry and make that into a list. It ignored later paragraphs, and made it impossible to put a list in the middle of the document.
• Changed the writing prompt selector to not batch by category - previously the system went through the list of prompts and chose one based on the date. Now it does something similar but it shuffles the prompts first so that the same category doesn't keep coming up for the entire month. Plus users can of course select which categories their prompts are selected from.
• Some fixes to the header text auto-sizing mechanism. (i.e. where your entry title shows up when on an entry).
• Tracker pill layout improved on mobile when multiple trackers present on a diary
• Implemented a small occasional nudge to non-Plus users who've used the site for a while and done a decent amount of entries. Not as a pressure sell, but as a 'look what else you could have'. Click the X in the nudge box to remove the nudge for 30 days. This will only show when writing an entry - so people who are here just to read other diaries, or comment on other diaries won't ever see it.
• Updated the help and guides section to add some information about what happens if your Plus Membership expires (notably, your diary will go Private but you do not lose access to it). The caveat is is that you can only have 1 diary as a non-Plus member, so if you have multiple diaries, every diary except the first will become read-only.
• A small update to the T&C page to remove some duplicate paragraphs.
• An attempt to find and remove an Ooops that seems to appear randomly if you come back to the site after a few days, when you first re-arrive. Re-loading the page gets rid of it, but it's annoying.
• A bit of behind the scenes admin, notably a screen for me to see whether the Redis server, the MySQL server and Moozemail are up and running, at a glance. Go me! 😊
• A tweak to YouTube embedding to ensure that left or right aligned images in the entry don't get covered up if you embed a YT video close by.
• A Spotify embed - if you have Spotify you can 'share' a Spotify song or podcast and paste in the link that's generated into an entry and DD will embed a media object into your entry allowing you, or any public readers to play that song/podcast straight from your entry. (Similar to the YT plugin).
• A couple of small updates to the Home Page. Notably, a big callout that if you were here from 1999-2010s (and beyond) then your diary is still here, and can be accessed straight away if you can remember the email address and password associated with the account. And a callout to get in touch with us if you can't remember the details. If you were here from 1999-2015 or so we'd love to have you back!
• A tweak to the home page to not show any Login or Dashboard buttons until the page has finished loading and knows your logged in status to stop the horrible 'flash' effect.
