In the past few hours I've noticed the private dashboard has been very slow to load and have pinned the issue down to the ZenQuotes API which drives the 'Inspirational Quote' dashboard card. I've reworked how that is loaded now and the dashboard should be back up to a sensible speed again.
I've also tidied up the Intray icon being inconsistent with it's number of unread messages changing when navigating different areas of the app and indeed, being extremely inconsistent in the mobile menu.
I've also moved the position of the Community Card to a little further up the screen on mobile. One day I'll get around to allowing users to move those cards around themselves!
But much more interestingly, for those of you on mobile who like to add photos to your entries, there's now a small camera icon in the bottom right of the entry edit screen. Clicking it will allow you to take a photo using your mobile's camera, or select multiple images to insert from your phone's photo library. It will also allow uploading of files, but that's mostly a side effect 😊
Desktop users functionality for uploading pictures remains the same as before.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing the camera. I logged out and tried again, still no. I tried a test entry and I selected one photo from my phone (Google photos) in the usual way, but when I went back to add another photo (three separate times) I received the unexpected error message. I never know if these issues are on my end or not, but just letting you know.
Unexpected error is always worth reporting 😊
Are you using it in a browser or as an “app” directly from the Home Screen? That’ll help me have a look at what’s going on.
It may be worth forcing a reload in the browser (rather than a login logout as that won’t necessarily force the latest code) but that shouldn’t be required (in theory).
I’ll have a look and see if I can reproduce the problem. I have a very old Android I can try 😊
I'm using it in the browser (Brave). Today, I tried to insert a photo in the usual way and receive the unexpected error message.
The camera icon wen wen won’t show up in the browser, you’ll need to add to Home Screen to get more OS integration (including push notifications if you want them).
I’ll have a look at why it’s giving errors on mobile using the normal form though, cos it should still work, but clearly isn’t
