I have today launched a new SubReddit (on Reddit) for DearDiary.Net users to congregate and chat in a somewhat more chat friendly environment than DD itself. It's absolutely not intended to replace DD because that would be silly. But it is a place where DD users can post about DD, or interact with other users.
It's intended to be a place to chat generally about journalling on DD, as well as somewhere that people can brainstorm journalling ideas, overcome writers block, suggest new features, raise bugs etc.
It's like a 24 hour coffee morning for DD users.

If you've never used Reddit before, it's very easy - and although it's a Social Media environment it's not anywhere near as algorithmically driven as the likes of Twitter or Facebook. You choose what you want to see on Reddit. And there's no requirement to go, just if you fancy it 😊

I can confirm that Reddit is not as overwhelming as other sites. You can join sub Reddits that you are interested in and stay away from the main feed if you want to. It's nice to interact with people who are interested in a specific topic or hobby. AND it can be a place to connect in a quicker way with our friends here on DD. Let's see how it develops!
