I can most definitely state that all we're adding here is a user friendly way of doing it - one that doesn't require you to get webspace somewhere else, then work out the IMG tag that you need to use to put into your entries and so forth. It'll work just like the graphics manager inside the system that currently allows you to upload new buttons and background images etc.
We are NOT disabling the ability to use photo's from other sources, and the fact that your photo's have disappeared is entirely a coincidence - one that i'm more than happy to help you isolate Rick if you drop me a mail to the support address.
If you know how to do photo's the current way, it's detailed in the FAQ, then please do continue to do this - we won't be stopping you, now or ever. If you don't, or don't like that way, the new Atomic Albums site will provide a far simpler way of doing it that doesn't require any HTML knowledge.
I hope that has cleared that up, and my apologies for the confusion :)

Actually you could probably work it out mathematically... Ten diarists, four subscribed, 6 unsubscribed. 1 x 10 + 2 x 9 etc?
Maybe not. But its mathematically possible and its also possible I will just shut the hell up and get a life :)
