Happy New Year

Welcome to 2006, I think everyone is now inside 2006 around the world so it's safe to say it :)

I hope 2006 turns out to be a good year for everyone. I know that at a personal level it's going to be a great year, but this isn't a personal diary (you can read my personal diary if you really want for all that sort of stuff - the link is on the left).

2006 holds some exciting things for DearDiary - the new email posting system is written using the engine that will power the all new DD.Net - and it's progressing nicely, although I know you're all bored of hearing that by now because I've looked back and realised that we've been talking of 'new deardiary' since about 2002!! But really - this time it's actually happening :) We've some other things coming up too which will be fun and hopefully exciting!!

So all that remains for now is to thank you all for your support, patience and patronage during 2005 and we hope to see you all writing more and more during 2006!

    I know you don't read all these diaries, but I have to tell you that there are so many times when diarist express their thankfulness to have made meaningful connections through this site....

    Well, I just want to thank you for all your hard work in keeping the whole thing up and running, which in turn keeps a WHOLE lot of people connected to each other on a daily basis.

    Happy New Year! Thanks for a wonderful site. To show my appreciation I've paid renewal subs early and added a little donation too. If you're a regular at DD reading this, please consider donating via the home page or even becoming a Plus member by paying subs.
