E-Mail Deliverability Revisited
Mon Feb 10 2025

So, I have today released the first version of our new EMail deliverability system, called Moozemail. At the moment the only customer is DearDiary.Net and for the time being that's definitely the way it will stay. But eventually I will likely open it up as an open source product and provide a SaaS solution as well. This will mean other people can take advantage of it. But for now, it's going to be used by DD.

The short story about it is that it now sends all e-mails out through Amazon SES using our own AWS account. This should hopefully improve deliverability since our AWS account is in good standing and doesn't have any spamming issues. SendGrid on the other hand (who I was using) is forbidden from sending to Outlook.com (and other Microsoft owned domains).

If you're on a Microsoft address and you receive notification that I've added this entry then it's worked. And if you don't then I've potentially wasted the last 3 weeks πŸ˜‰

On that note, let's see if it does or doesn't eh?
