After some excellent feedback, I have (I believe) fixed a few residual issues with viewing entries on mobile, particularly those with comments. There were occasions whereby the comments would make the screen too wide on mobile which would lead to the right hand edge being potentially cut off.
Generally the entry could be scrolled around, but that's not consistent with a nice experience at all. I have therefore re-arranged some of the headings in the comments section for mobile to improve the layout and reduce the risk of comments making the screen too wide.
I have also fixed a long standing and very irritating bug when leaving comments on mobile and that was that iOS was automatically zooming in on the text box when it brought up the keyboard. This then made the textbox too wide, and caused the 'side clipping' to occur. Not only that but iOS didn't automatically de-zoom when the keyboard was removed and so the whole layout was off. This is also fixed now and makes, I believe, the whole user experience of leaving comments on mobile devices a lot nicer.
The fix is related to minimum font sizes in text boxes on iOS with any fonts <16px causing the zoom to occur for accessibility. This means I suspect (but haven't yet tested) that if you're using a font smaller than 16px in the entry editor it's likely you'll see the same issue there. I haven't tested it yet because I don't have a sensible solution in my head for what to do to fix it if it does happen. More on that in the future though.
I am now working on a better way for people to intuitively know how to find all the entries on a diary on mobile. Thanks to kayel for pointing these things out as I suspect they have been putting other people off using the site on mobile but no-one else has told me about them :)
