Did you ever do something so dumb and just wish you could have gotten that quick minute back ? Well that happened to me this morning i went to community breakfast at local VFW and here i met up with an old friend i have not seen for a long time Duane and Cris, well Cris had to go and asked me if i could run Duane home since he lived really close i said sure i pulled into his lane and it is one way as snow is piled up on the side as soon as i started in his son was coming out with a truck and trailer Duane said i had to back out and it is onto a really busy road where cars fly and there are a lot of accidents he said he would get out and watch for cars so i was backing out watching him and the road in drivers side mirror all of a sunned i hear a crunch and scraping sound which instantly made me sick to my stomach i totally forgot to look in my pass side mirror and here i backed right into his mailbox and it is a solid mount and scraped up the side of my truck the other truck got out and Dwane said you hit my mailbox he said you scratched your truck but it is much deeper that a scratch up the side of the bed and pass door it just makes me sick that i was so concerned about the road and traffic i forgot to look at pass side, Damn it i will go get an estimate Monday don’t know if i should turn it into insurance or not that would probably raise my rates it depends of the estimate cost. I tried to upload a picture but it would not upload probably be just as well i can’t stand seeing what i did to my beautiful truck.
