Quit Again
Sat Nov 16 2013

This is my second and final attempt to quit smoking I quit 4 years ago in 2009 for 6 months and decided to have just one smoke when I totaled my truck which that one put me full blown 2 packs a day smoker, enough is enough.

My doctor has been harassing me to get my colonoscopy since I am now 60 and 10 years over due so finally gave in and had it done he removed several polyps and a coupled were large he called me to let me know I am lucky they were not cancer however he said the large ones could very well have turned into cancer left unchecked so he wants me to have another one in a year.

Back to the quitting smoking I decided that will be a good time to quit that was on November 4th so the 5th I started the patch and am now 10 days 17 hours smoke free. I also decided to begin writing here again as I looked back to 2009 to read what was going on the last time I quit I had it all recorded so figured I would just go ahead and keep track of these days

Still working at Railroad 10 hour days 6 days a week seems a bit easier since I quit the smoke but I will see as time goes by how I feel

Enjoy Life
Tim
