Well it started last Friday i went to pick up Mom from hair appointment it was raining pretty hard when i pulled into parking lot i saw my dash display said trailer disconnected well what the hell does that mean i don’t have a trailer connected i tried all the up and down arrows on my steering when to try to get back to normal screen which is my normal screen. I googled it and found all sorts of answers from bad wiring to plug corroded blown fuse so it was irritating so today i watched a utube video about pulling plug from under bumper and checking connections and put dielectric grease in it, so went to auto parts store and got a tube and since it is fairly nice day out i got a piece of cardboard and got under and pulled plug it looked really good so i loaded up with grease and plugged it back in tried it and no different, so sitting there trying to figure what to try next i noticed 2 little boxes at top of display beside where it says trailer the right one was lit up but not the left one so for the heck of it i hit the left arrow on steering wheel and bam it went back to normal display, i am so slow sometimes, when you hook up a trailer to the truck and plug in wiring you go to trailer mode with right arrow and it lets you know if you are connected or not to the trailer and if you lose connection it displays trailer disconnected DUH 4 days trying to solve a problem that was not there in the first place talk about over thinking.

Yes, well, cars with so many sensors and chips are fine when they work properly... but can also be just plain silly sometimes!! I have to push a button on my console EVERY TIME I start my car in order to disable the function that turns the engine off at stop lights as long as I have my foot on the brake. I very much dislike it!!!!
