Saturday was my trip to Ogelby park in West Virginia it started out great with a stop in Stuebenville Ohio to spend some time at Nutcracker village there are so many that is was almost impossible to see them all, the are hand carved and painted by one family there certainly is a lot of that talent in that family, we spent about an hour and a half there then stopped at a Wendys for lunch that is when things changed it started to snow and they were prediction quite a storm storm with lots of snow and we sure got some by the time we got to Ogelby park show was really coming down roads were getting slick and we only got to see some of the lights the bus got stuck a couple times but the driver did a good job of getting himself unstuck, i got back to my truck around 12:30 AM and there was about 6 inches of snow on it i remembered to put a broom in it to clean the snow but the roads were just a nightmare and i had to decide which hill i wanted to go up to get home i chose on in Butler hoping the city would be on it and i got up the hill just fine but the road i live on was horrible to drive on all heavy snow covered had to stay in the tire path made by other cars i guess road crews were not going to worry about it till morning but i finally made it home in my trusty 4x4 truck but the stress was horrible that would have been a fun trip if it wasn’t for the slick roads and snow.

Driving in snow that bad is the WORST. Your heart is in your throat the entire time. Boy do I know what it's like. Glad you made in home okay. It will take some time to recover from that!!!
And it did not end there i had to get up next morning shovel my sidewalk then shovel my driveway and then go out on those slick roads again to get Lulu from dog sitter and of course behind the snow storm cold temps was 12 with 8 degree windchill i really hate winter
