Another quick entry
Another quick entry today was all about Mount Rushmore it was beautiful just so breathtaking we were there twice once this morning then this evening when they had a light up presentation it was awesome they showed a movie where they told the story of each president and their contribution to this great country. Today was day 10 it is downhill from here Mount Rushmore was the highlight of my vacation we will be getting home Friday evening they figure around 11:30

Thank you for sharing your trip with us other diarists here at DD. The story of how Mount Rushmore was created by our former finding fathers is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING history made! Been there myself when I was younger and very young, but remember the experience at that time. I also remember taking a picture of a bear in the tree nearby for my mom and did a good job trying and getting a good, fair picture to remember for such an early age! I was 4 or 5 years old the ..
