One day at a time

This year seems to have gone by so fast my job is going well although I got my fill of working all afternoon shift so a daylight job came up for bid but the bad thing is the shift is Friday through Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday off, Friday Saturday, and Sunday 6:00 to 2:30 and Monday and Tuesday 7:00 to 3:30.I guess that is better than working all 3:30 to midnight, and the weekend Lead Machinist is retiring in March so I am training for his job it is pretty easy on weekends and more money so I accepted the extra responsibility.

Christmas went very well this is Mom's first Christmas at her new place and it went very well we were all there all day and had a great time but I still miss Dad.The grandkids are getting so big Sam is now 14 and Alex is 10 time certainly does fly.

I was on vacation last week and Wednesday morning Mom and I went to visit Dad;s grave and decked it all out for the Holidays and then I went down to Crossroads Motorsports and bought a Quad. I have always wanted a Quad and I started thinking I will be retiring in 10 years so I should get my toys all bought and paid for before them so I went ahead and did it, and I really like it lots of fun, I own only 2 1/2 acres but it is bordered by about 20 acres of woods owned by a park so lots of area for me to ride..

New Years resolution : Lose 20 pounds, and post on my diary on a regular basis like maybe once a week ??
