This week we embarked on what will likely be the last trip away in Moosey for the year. The weather is already starting to turn a little cooler and wetter. I suspect it will be a very harsh winter. Moosey is fitted with a heater if we decide to brave the colder days and nights, but this is the last official trip.
Unfortunately the trip was cut somewhat short as Joey seemed to pull a hamstring or at least some kind of muscle in his back leg and couldn’t jump up into the van. We had to leave after two nights to get him seen at the vets. He’s doing ok now after some anti inflammatory meds.
We’ll be back next year and Joey will have a ramp to walk up and down instead of jumping in.
