It’s hotter today than the Australian Outback. And that’s hot!

It’s currently 33 Celsius. Which in fairness isn’t that hot for Australian temperatures but is still getting up there. And for English temperatures - phew, what a scorcher.

But it’s lovely. Joey disagrees.

The evenings are stunning though, when it cools down a bit and the moon is up. This campsite is spot on too, quiet, pub and village nearby and right on the river.

I always said if we worked hard, saved hard and played our cards right we’d be able to afford to live in a van down by the river.
