I am in the process of entering back entries for Moosey Wagan, but starting from the beginning and the starting time for this is 2023. I thought I'd start entering some current entries too, so that I don't end up chasing my tail!
Anyway, after all the renovations (which aren't quite all finished, but are finished enough) today was Moosey's first major outing. There's been a lot of work to get to this point, and I'll try to get that all entered as soon as I can. But today, she travelled close to 300 miles in one go. There were some slow spots to get through roadworks, but in the main she cruised along at between 60-70mph for just over 5 hours.
And she didn't skip a beat. There's some vibration through the pedals, gearstick and steering wheel which seems to be strongly correlated with the engine revs, so I wonder if the engine mounts could do with replacing. I will seek advice online about this to see if it's worth doing.
Joey also met his new home away from home for the first time. He seemed to like the idea...
