Today we moved from our site by the river, which was absolutely fantastic for the three nights we were there, although the weather was so hot we didn’t get to explore anywhere near as much as we wanted. Never mind, we will return to that one.

Joey did not fare well with the heat. He was sick twice yesterday and once this morning. He’s since been better as the temperature is 5 degrees cooler today.

We also went to visit the church in Winterton and considered a walk on the beach but that was starting to get a bit hot at the time of day we were there. The irony of being in Winterton in a heatwave eh? We did stop in a lovely little coffee shop for a latte each and a bacon, Brie and cranberry panini which was lovely. Joey had a doggy ice cream to help his poorly belly. Seems to have worked though.
