Tomorrow/Today

----- May 14th

Tomorrow, I go grocery shopping. I have my list, but I need to go through it one last time to see if I have everything.

I received my barley flour today. I get my baking pans tomorrow and Saturday. I'm planning to be doing a lot more cooking at home once I get everything.

I want to make those copy cat starbucks egg bites for breakfasts. I'd have to buy some guacamole, or make my own.

----- May 15th

I got my groceries. I bought almost everything I wanted except the barley because all they had were pearled, and according to my research, you want the hulled or pot barley because the pearled is similar to white rice. It's basically the outer shell of the grain. I want some sustenance in the grain, so I'm going to buy some pot barley online since it's less expensive, less chewy I guess, but is only partially processed.

I bought some REAL olive oil to replace the old I had. I got a smaller bottle, and it was about $8, but it's the REAL stuff, and I don't usually use much oil anyway, so I think it won't get too expensive in the long run. It's the Caparelli brand.

I'm going to make zucchini pizza crust for lunch, just with cheese and roasted garlic. Sounds good.

This morning I ate cottage cheese and coffee for breakfast so I'm hungry. I've got overtime hours to do at work at 4pm, so I'll probably grab some pistachios.

Again, I am going to try to eat as whole food and biblically as I can this week. It's more to make me feel healthier rather than lose weight, but I'm hoping as I change my diet and gain energy, I'll want to move around and exercise more, so it'll naturally go hand in hand.

Alright, I'm gonna go make my pizza...

The zucchini pizza was surprisingly good, with just roasted garlic, Italian seasoning and mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

I ate a couple of dates, and they're a good sweet snack. I like them, and will continue to buy them and make smoothies or bake with them. I'm gonna use them to replace processed sugar. What a great sugar alternative!!

Well, I'd better get ready for work...
