LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO MAKE MYSELF SMALL

North Of Italy, 10:45 PM
After a crazy morning at work, I went to the dentist for a teeth cleaning and discovered that I have two fillings to do and some gum inflammation.
Unfortunately, with braces it’s even worse.
I really need to commit much more seriously to my oral hygiene.
Later on, I briefly mentioned the virtual Coven to my mother and, of course, she doesn’t agree.
She thinks there is a lot of competition and that those people are all a bunch of fanatics.
She’s afraid I might end up constantly feeling inferior.
I tried to explain to her that Christian prayer groups exist too — and in my opinion they are much more boring.
I no longer intend to make myself small for others.
Life is way too short.

Life is indeed too short to compare places and groups YOU would be happy in…that’s for sure to be honest with you. Go where YOU would be comfortable most in your heart and life. YOU are the author of your life at age 18.
That's an interesting idea... making ourselves small for others. It can sneak up on us. There is another side to that though... making ourselves larger for others. If you can keep THAT balance, that would be a real victory!
