MOTHERS' CIRCLE IN THE CORRIDOR
North of Italy, 12:30 PM
E., our pregnant colleague, stopped by to say hello a little while ago.
She is due in 20 days!
Curiously, she can even eat foods containing gluten during her pregnancy.
It's wonderful how the body changes to accommodate the new life growing inside, but I probably won't have the chance to experience it 😪.
At one point, they all gathered in the corridor to talk about pregnancy and I felt very awkward.
She and I barely said hello, and I didn't even pretend to notice because I was working and couldn't, nor did I want to, stop.
Not that E. paid any attention to me, anyway.
I'm used to it.
At least I saw that huge bump for the last time.
This somehow managed to ruin my mood.

I hear you...try to think of it this way: it is your own mood, so you are the only one to control it...don't let anyone else to have a say in it ;- )
Just a suggested thought to ponder: we can never change the way how things are outside of our control, but we can always adjust how we react to them...and in that is - our power.
