Trackers
Trackers let you record structured data alongside your entries — mood, sleep quality, weight, and more — and visualise trends over time on your dashboard.
Enabling trackers
- Open Diary Settings → Trackers tab.
- Toggle on the trackers you want to use for this diary.
- Choose the privacy setting for the trackers you want to use. You can set this individually per tracker (but not per entry). Choosing public will allow readers to see the tracker pill on your entries.
- Save settings.
Recording tracker data
When an entry is open, tracker pills appear above the editor. Click a pill to expand it and record a reading. The reading is saved together with the entry.
Some trackers can be set and changed directly from the viewing entry page if you own the diary
Available trackers
| Tracker | What you record | Requires |
|---|---|---|
| Mood | An emoji representing your mood (customisable per diary) | Free |
| Sleep | Hours slept + quality rating | Free |
| Weight | Body weight in kg or lbs (configurable) | Plus |
More trackers are planned for the future and if you have any ideas for trackers you would like to see implemented please get in touch!
Weight tracker
The weight tracker records your body weight alongside each entry. You can choose whether to track in kg or lbs — configure this in Diary Settings → Trackers. All values are stored internally in kg and converted for display based on your preference.
The dashboard chart shows:
- Actual — your recorded weights plotted over time
- Required — a straight line from your starting weight to your target weight by your target date (if you have set a goal)
- Trend — a linear regression projection of where your weight is heading based on your recorded data
To set a weight goal, open Diary Settings → Trackers, expand the Weight tracker, and enter a target weight and optional target date.
The weight tracker is a Plus feature.
Viewing tracker data
The Trackers card on your Dashboard shows charts for the current diary:
- Mood over time
- Sleep hours and quality over time
- Weight trend with actual readings, required trajectory, and projected trend
You can also view tracker data for a specific entry when reading that entry. Trend graphs are only available on your dashboard at this time, but may be incorporated into a widget you can add to your homepage or diary entries shortly.
