Saturday full of Dinosaurs

We rented Jurassic Park 3 for the kids this weekend. As of 6:30 this evening I think we are on our 8th viewing. The kids seem particularly tickled with the whole concept of collecting T-Rex pee.

I spent 4 solid hours this morning with a few other of my classmates trying to figure out our homework. I think we have it pretty much under wraps. We are getting together again tomorrow to dedicate a few hours to study for the test on Monday. Meanwhile I'm working on bits and pieces of homework here at home that I want to clarify. Everyone also agrees I am totally anal when they hear that I am transcribing my notes into electric format. What they don't understand is that my handwriting is hideous. In high school I was told by my teachers that based on my handwriting I would grow up to be a doctor. If I don't type it all out, I can't read it when I need to review for a test.

Right now? I'm relaxing a bit while I wait for Hubby to bring ice cream. He responded to my subtle hints of "Why don't you go buy ice cream?" and made a store run to pick up a couple other things also. I distinctly heard him murmuring Bailey's Irish Cream.

We rented Jurassic Park 3 a month or so ago. It was ok, but what most surprised me was the commentary on the DVD. Usually commentaries are interesting, but this one was incredibly boring. For some reason they chose only the special effects people to do the commentary, and all they would say for the 2 hours was, "Ok, this is a computer generated dinosaur...and that was an animatronic one. Oh, and that one was a mix between animatronic and cg. Or wait a minute, was the whole thing cg? I can't remember now."
    It was terrible.
