Once again I find myself with a day in which I need to find a way to keep the kids separated while I'm at work.
Fortunately #2 has a girlfriend, and is able to go to her house to hang out with she and her family. I'll be picking him up on my way home after work.
For #1 and #3, I can separate them into different rooms with different TV's, computers or video games.
I made a run to the store this morning to get dinner items for the kids so they don't have to do any unsupervised cooking. #1 has a lunchable and #3 has a hero sandwich.
It's not that they can't cook, they can. I just don't want to come home to the mess that always results in their cooking! For some reason, no matter how many times I tell them and make them clean up after themselves, they never remember to do it on their own after cooking something. It's definitely a teenaged boy thing, although I'm told in some young men it can last into their 20's or until they get married and have to face an angry wife wielding a cast iron skillet.
OK, time to get back to my homework.
