A Day In The Life

My eyes were starting to cross doing my homework, so I opted to escape for a bit to check e-mail and make an entry here in DDLand.

Hubby is once again gone for the weekend, this time with what he was calling an "Old Fart" camp.    It is a weekend for the adult CAP members who have no military experience.  It is a down & dirty introduction to military life for one weekend.  Not enough to give any of them a heart attack (there will be no PT), but enough to help them better appreciate what they are supposed to be doing with CAP.

I've got a pile of homework, a mountain of laundry, and many other chores around the house clamoring for attention.  I’ll get some of it done, and make a list of others for the kids to knock out while I’m at school and work this weekend.

I have Sunday and Monday off, Hubby will be home Sunday, and I suspect Monday will see the two of us at the Y working out followed by soaking in the Jacuzzi.

I’m looking forward to Monday.  I’ve been cold all week and could use the steaming hot water to cook the coldness out of my bones!
