A Day In The Life

On a normal day, I take Shelby out for anywhere between 3 and 6 walks a day.  The walks range from around the block to just under 3 miles.  I know that sounds like a long walk for a 12 week old puppy, but believe me, she can hold her own.  

I'm not sure on the distance of the walk I just took her on as quite a bit of it was on trails through the woods, but we were gone for about 45 minutes walking.  I had her on the retractable leash, so she spent the time running, walking and overall exploring the entire time.  We got home and I am bushed.  She is jumping around looking for someone to play and hopefully romp around the back yard with.

I think my plan to wear her out backfired.
