Birthday
Sun Mar 14 2004

My boys woke me up this morning with breakfast in bed for my birthday. They felt bad that they didn't buy me a present, so they did that for me. I told them that doing that was worth far more to me than a present they had bought.

Also for my birthday (although it wasn't originally planned this way) OUR FURNITURE ARRIVED!!!! We now have comfortable cuddle-able furniture in the living room! Hubby is in seventh heaven.

We went around looking for ideas for a trellis. Hubby thinks it would be a wonderful project for him and the boys to build together. I’m actually going to need three of them, so maybe I’ll buy the first one and let them use it for a pattern.

I’m getting so excited about all the planting I want to do. I am hoping that the weather this week will be conductive to me going out and digging up roses. While I love them, my yard just does not get enough sun for them to thrive in. What I’ve ended up with are these sickly looking little twigs sticking up from the ground.

OK, time to go do another load of laundry. It never ends does it?

Boy do I envy nudists

    A very Happy Belated Birthday!
I'm getting excited for planting too. Trees are blooming in the Beaverton area are full on, nothing out here yet except daffodis, and other bulbs. I have yet to see a hummingbird, but I expect to hear one at anytime.
I love this time of year.

Planting! I want my garden back again! I actually went looking for primroses over the weekend, but was informed I'm still too early. I begin to understand why The Socialist wants to move to sunnier climes.

    Happy Birthday, Ms. Alli.
