Strange Happenings
Sat Mar 06 2004

I noticed something odd on my guest map today. For no apparent reason, several entries have disappeared. There were flags in places a while back that are now gone, and I've no idea why this is happening to some and not all of them.

At first I thought that maybe after a certain amount of time the system dropped them off, but then I noticed that some of the original flags set are still in place.

It must be sun spots. That seems as good of a thing as any to blame it on. Either that or Steve's ghost has been coming in and erasing them.

I'm going with the sunspots theory.

Could be the shift in the world due to the most recent guilty verdict. Anything is possible.

Try this link, which has lots of other links in it on how to learn to crochet.

    http://crochet.about.com/library/blbeginners.htm?PM=ss11_crochet

The most important thing to tell you is that it is not difficult but it is a skill. The more you do the better you get. You have to get comfortable with holding the hook, the tension you keep the yarn at, etc. Start SMALL, don't plan on making an afghan, make a potholder. Make LOTS of potholders. Before you know it, they'll start looking like potholders too. The picture I posted today is a double crochet stitch which there is a link for, how to learn it. That's probably the best stitch to start with once you learn how to make your starting chain and the single crochet stitch, you'll use it and variations of it constantly.

See, I can blab on about crocheting all the time. Feel free to yell with questions if you want. :o)

It must be in the air.
    I'm changing my diary tomorrow!

    :-)

I like the way the blue fades a little in the entry box... cool!

    Thanks Alli!

I found a website for the balls, http://www.caninecapers.com/index.htm, printed out the order form and will give it a try. She did so love playing with it on the back deck. It couldn't get too far away from her and she was upset when it wouldn't roll any longer.

I love your new colors, very nice. For some reason I do enjoy the lighter color fonts, but whenever I set my pages or website up, I always end up with the reverse. Old habits I guess.

I wasn't sure what I liked more...the title announcing the change or the change itself! LOL! *wink*
I had a deja vu moment there.

Did you get to see Riverdance live? I did and it was so amazing. I don't know if they still tour, but I'd love to take my daughter to see it.

I like the new look. I'm too lazy to change mine. Hopefully Steve will make it easier to do so.
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday!
