Day is Done

We are back from our peregrination to Bro's house, and the visit with he and SIL went well. It is safe to say that a good time was had by all.

The kids were thrilled when we took an adventure to the pet store to watch the piranha being feed. They kept betting on which of the victim fish would be the first to be eaten. I think it's safe to say that they will remember this day for a LONG time.

While down I also met with Franisbueno and had a great visit while experiencing fine dining at Taco Bell. It was really great to see her again. I'll be glad when she moves up here later this year so she will be closer and we can hopefully get together more often. I really look forward to that day; she and I leaving the men-folk home with the kids while we go catch the latest chick-flick then go out from a plate of crawfish afterwards.

Yum!

While at Taco Bell we ran into a friend from my past, Lynette, who had been one of our instructors in Drum Corps. She also has twins, a boy and a girl. Her kids are a bit older than mine, and will be graduating from high school this year. I can't believe our children are growing this fast! It seems like only a few weeks ago I was running into Lynette and her 5 year old twins at the mall. Hubby and I were newlyweds, I was pregnant with my twins, and it seems every time we went to the Clackamas Town Center we saw Lynette and her kids.

Now, it's time to run a load of laundry, get the kids to bed, and watch the episode of Angel I taped the other night.
