It's been a whirlwind week for those of us in the Allimom household, last minute shopping (I think I'm done, but I'm not sure), last minute baking, preparation for my share of the cooking on Christmas, and the final touches on the wrapping that need to be done (which reminds me, I do need to go buy bows).
#2 spent yesterday in a town a couple hours away doing work with the flood relief there. #1 and #3 spent yesterday bowling with Hunkka-hunkka Hubby. I spent yesterday at work. Yippie.
Hubby and I did take off last night for a few hours to find one present that has been hard-to-find. We did finally find it and rewarded ourselves with dinner and a movie. A date night was just what was needed for both of us! We ended up seeing National Treasure, Book of Secrets. It was pretty good, but not as good as the first one. We were disappointed to see that the funniest parts of the trailer for it were edited out. Bummer. It was still enjoyable.
I need to fully wake up and go bake some bread, but first... Breakfast!
