I'm trying to get the kids going in the direction of us leaving to go see my brother. #2 is up awake and eating breakfast, #3 just ambled out from the bedroom wrapped in a blanket and seeking cuddles.

Cuddles with #3 are always a good thing. He still enjoys them, despite being 10 years old.

#1 is again difficult to get out of bed. I'm starting to think that he does this just to make me mad. The only times it seems that he has difficulties is when I try to get him out of bed. He doesn't do this for Hubby, and there are days he gets up and ready with no problems. The days I try to get him up and going though… not pretty.

There are days I really wished the kids had the same behavior as Indigo does. Happy to see me, eager to please, polite and a pleasure to be around. Well, a pleasure to be around if you like dogs that is.

I'm still amazed at what she is now compared to what she was when we first brought her home:

Who couldn't love this face?

Ah, luxuriating while the family slaves to meet her every need.
