For the past couple years I've been encouraging the twins to start being creative in the kitchen when they want a snack or breakfast. They have become quite adept with Mac & Cheese, ramen noodles, spaghetti-o's and the such. Recently (the past year or so) they have been branching out to eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches or quesadillas.
This morning #1 decided he wanted eggs. He got out the eggs, some cheese, salt & pepper, and since he knows that he likes garlic, some garlic powder. He carefully seasoned his eggs as he cooked them, and liberally added the garlic since he likes it so much. He finished cooking them and served them up nice & pretty on a plate.
Then he tasted the eggs.
He now knows what happens when you use too much garlic on eggs. The house is saturated with the smell of garlic, which isn't so bad if you're fixing a nice spaghetti dinner, but not so good when you're fixing scrambled eggs.
