Exciting day today. President Bush was in town to speak at a local High School and traffic within about a 5 mile radius from the landing location to the school had a very interesting traffic thing going on.
Best part about today is the boys were angels and cleaned their rooms without fuss. The only question I have is WHO ARE THESE KIDS AND WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH MY SONS??!!?? Actually it was wonderful to not have a day where I had the urge to look for the duct tape.
With the beginning of the new year, my health insurance has stopped covering several medications. My #2 son's is one of the meds no longer covered. Boy did it hurt to refill his meds today! I need to go pester my insurance company and find out what they still do cover and have the doc change his meds to that! If I win the lottery I can afford this med, but otherwise, forget it!
We have some folks coming to talk with us tomorrow about buying the house. Boy I hope this sale goes through quickly! They have been approved for the amount of the sale. Now we just need to make it happen.
Well, the Air National Guard is asking me to come back again. I have been fortunate that so far I have only received invitations and not demands. Actually I would love to go back, but until the kids are our of the house it will not be a possibility. Their needs are too demanding at this time to allow me to be gone for the weekend, and for a couple weeks a year. They are the whole reason I got out in the first place. At this time, their needs definitely come ahead of my wants!
