Day of leisure & revelry
Thu Jan 01 2004

For Hubby and I, this is a day of leisure. Well, kind of. Hubby has been inspired by the Clean Sweep marathon, and is cleaning his side of the closet and dresser, weeding it out to the extreme.

Me? I'm enjoying the Seventh Heaven marathon while I do laundry and surf the web. I'm looking at my kitchen, and have acknowledged that it needs attention. I'm not ready to give it attention though. I will wait for an episode of Seventh Heaven that I've seen a time or three, and clean the kitchen then.

For the kids it is a day of revelry. This revelry started about two and a half hours ago, and coincided with the snowfall. Beautiful big fluffy snow flakes are re-adorning my world with a silent white blanket. I think we are all hoping that we get a few inches. The kids are hoping for a few feet, but will settle for a few inches.

OK, having said that Hubby and I would settle for a few inches, he just came into the room with a maniacal look in his eye and announced that he hopes we have a foot or more of snow.

I have the feeling he just came across some of his old ski gear while going through the closet.

I'm scared.
