Now, I should clarify, the kidney I requested has nothing to do with organ donation, or unusual cuisine. It has to do with gardening. I have one of the most boring front yards on the planet, and I wanted to do something about it. There is one sad little tree out front with a pathetic little Clematis planted at the base of it that dutifully puts out one blossom every year, and several hyacinths planted around it that bloom wonderfully every spring. I wanted to enlarge that little non-grassy area and make something pretty. The result is the following:

As you can see, Stormy had a wonderful time helping us, and I even have photographic evidence that #3 is capable of doing work! This will, of course, be used as blackmail material in the future. I also couldn't resist a shot of Hubby's tush when the opportunity presented itself! ;^D
This is all we got done today, I will be ordering a compost/topsoil mix to fill it in and start planting. I’ll post more pictures as the kidney progresses. I'm looking forward to transplanting my mock orange into the bed, as well as a plethora of daylilies, a daphne if I can find one, and several other pretties I've had my eye on.
