Oh Boy.

If I am going to drive for 2 hours this morning, the location of large amounts of caffeine will be a definite necessity!

The kids are really excited about the trip down. I got a movie for them that they have not seen yet. While I'm not hearing the dreaded "Are We There Yet" chant, they have taken up a "Can We Leave Now?" mantra.

Patience Grasshoppers.

Just about done preparing for my math final. My teacher told us that we are allowed to bring in one sheet of paper with notes on it. There is not a size limit to the piece of paper, I asked. My sheet of paper is not the standard 8X10 piece of notebook paper. It is 18X24. I have almost completely covered it with notes and examples of every kind of problem we have done this quarter. With luck she will allow all of her classes to use these kind of notes on tests. I have her next quarter for my next math class. I have 6 more math classes to take. I suppose it is too much to ask that she be my teacher for all of them, huh?

I have 6 math classes, 2 chemistry classes, 4 physics classes and 5 computer classes to take before I transfer to the University. I want to get an Associates at the Community College before going on to getting my Bachelors at the University. All the classes I have to take before transferring are not required for the Associates, but they are classes I would have to take at the University, and I would rather save my bank account and pay Community College prices for these classes. Right now while I'm only taking one class at a time, it feels like it is going to take forever to get through all these classes. Fortunately I will be able to start taking more classes each term after my next math class. I am, however, NOT planning to take anything other than one math, and maybe one computer class during the summer. I don't relish the thought of taking heavy homework classes while I will have the kids home all day, every day for the summer!

What level of math do you have to go to? I started at 25 and ended at 95. I almost died when I realized how much math I had to take. But in the end I found out that I really like math, it is like a game.
When I went back to school the fall of 2000, paramedic school seemed light years away. You're right about one thing---take as much as you can at the community college. Especially math.
Good luck on your test. I can remember cramming as much as I could on a piece of paper! Only problem was that I could never find exactly what I needed cause I wrote so small.
