Strange dreams
Mon Mar 03 2003

I had a dream last night that yesterday I had 43 entries in my diary for the day. I was trying to figure out how I had that many since I had been gone all day. I know where the dream came from. 43 was the answer to the last math problem I worked on last night, and after finishing my math for the evening, I read a few diaries to try to chase the numbers out of my head.

Well, at least it wasn't one of my laundry-math dreams. Those are always frustrating.

Yesterday, the kids were SO good during the day. They did not complain (except once #3 complained that his feet were too hot, that was cured by having him take his shoes off while he sat and waited for us to browse through the store we were in at the time.) about having to sit around in store after store waiting for us. The new games DEFINITELY played a part in their behavior. They have both earned rewards, but will have to wait until later today for them as the stores we would have gone to last night were closed by the time we got home. They didn't mind about that at all.

The shopping yesterday was frustrating. The stores have virtually nothing out. It is the end of the fall/winter season, and the spring lines have not been put out yet. We saw a LOT of ugly outfits geared towards winter. Some things we saw I believe designers need to be drawn and quartered for putting out. We will keep looking though, there is still lots of time before the wedding.

OK, who am I kidding? There is never lots of time before a wedding, no matter how much time you have! But we do have 3 weeks, and all the sales should end after next week. The spring lines should come out then and we will see more of a selection.

You may be right, but we'll see. I've got a feeling I get all the weird hits because my diary is only near the top of weird searches. If someone searches for "liver transplant" information, my diary would be down somewhere around page 64 of the hits, making it far less likely that I'd ever have someone find me that way.

It will be an interesting experiment though. Keep an eye on your sitemeter and let me know when the first Hugh hits arrive!

Not guilty, Alli. It does restore my faith in the search engine system though!
