We got lucky today and Hubby had the day off also. After spending the morning locked away doing homework, he broke free for the afternoon to do family things.
While the kids were off with their friends, Hubby and I got in a walk and some primo snuggle time. I so cherish one on one time I get to spend with him. It isn't often we are not surrounded by swarms of children.
This evening #2 is staying over at Chris's, where I suspect he will hone his skills on video games and guy talk. Right now though, he is making a store run with his Dad and hanging out with him. He is still young enough that he enjoys spending time with us. I think we only have a short time left until he comes down with the usual teenage affliction of being seen with his parents.
