While we have been doing some work around the house, the big chore for the day will be giving Indigo a bath.
Indigo dislikes baths in the first place, so they are always interesting to give. Top this off with the bathtub we have is about the right size for a Barbie Doll. The bathtub method is out due to this. We will have to give her one in the back yard with the hose.
Since we will have no warm water to be sure she does not freeze her follicles off we need to wait for the sun to be at the right angle to give us a big sunny patch in our back yard. We will then tie her up to an immovable object so we can have two or more people soaping her up at a time. It is our hopes that this will cut the bath time in half, thus reducing her time exposed to cold water.
To warm her up after the bath, as well as dry her off, I suspect we will have a nice walk around the neighborhood. She loves her walks, so this should make up for the indignities of the bath we will be subjecting her to.
