9/11 TV specials

I've been watching this on and off as I've been doing things around the house this morning. For the most part I have been in control of my emotions. Feeling sorrow, regret and anger, but still being in control.

Until they brought on the piece about the daycare center, and what the children went through.

While none were harmed, the stories told by the daycare providers were what moved me the most. It is amazing that the normal evacuation plan would have taken them directly into danger. The teachers, working on instinct went the other way instead, taking the children in appropriated shopping carts, carrying and almost dragging the children 3 miles away to safety.

These women were truly heroes.
