Deep thoughts
Thu Jul 04 2002

Well, as in every country this side of the dateline, it is the 4th of July. Here in the states though it is also Independence Day.

I anticipate a day full of reassuring Indigo at every explosion of fireworks. I anticipate a day full of telling the kids NO every time they ask to go swimming. Even if it is the 4th of July, that does not mean that it will automatically warm up and stop raining.

OK, OK, it hasn't started raining yet, but the clouds covering the sky are so black that the outside has more the appearance of dusk rather than mid-day.

I'm thinking with the way the weather looks that inside activities this evening will be much more appealing than outside activities. I'm thinking the family should go see Men In Black II instead of fireworks. I'm thinking warm and dry sounds OH SO MUCH BETTER than cold and wet. I'm thinking if I want to pull this off with minimum fuss I need to start my campaign now....

We're going to try to see Men in Black today, too. It may be jam-packed. We're going late afternoon, when we hope everybody will be out picnicing or something. It's warm and sunny here; people started shooting off fireworks last night!

Enjoyed your pictures, that sounds like one heck of a summer (from past entries).
We had some of those big black clouds too, but they floated off---up to you?
