The cleaning quest

A week ago the kids rooms were so clean they sparkled. Last night they were so cluttered I couldn't find beds or dressers (not much of an exaggeration there..)

I made the kids a deal, if they clean their rooms this morning I will take them to Lilo & Stitch.

#3's room is clean. #1's room is clean. #2's room is something I will not discuss. If anything it is messier. Now I can't even open the door all the way due to the clutter on the floor.

I'm liking the idea of using a blow torch to clean it more and more!

    I can just see you, kicking open the door, dressed in full fire-protection gear from head to toe, with a flame-thrower under your arms! Blammo!

    I had a good trick when the kids were little. I pulled out a large garbage bag , showed it to them and said "Anything not picked up in 30 minutes goes in here." Boy, did they ever move it! Now I just remind them, If they don't keep their rooms picked up they don't get their allowance. Money talks!
