My final weigh-in last Monday had me at a total weight loss of 52.4 pounds.
I am pleased as punch over this, but recognize that I still have a way to go before I meet my own goal. So I'll be continuing my journey using my own resources (actually using resources a friend shared with me) and following up on maintenance monthly weigh-ins to make sure I don't lose the progress I made.
The program I'm using on my own is called "Ruled Me", for which information can be found here: www.ruled.me . I'm using their batch cooking option since I don't always know if/when I will have time to cook daily. Last week we had Bacon & Pepper Frittata casseroile for breakfast, Sausage & Pepper soup with salad for lunch, and Buffalo Chicken Jalapeno Popper Casserole for dinners.
Yeah, a little boring having the same thing every day, but the flavor? OMG! And the amount of food you get? I feel full all the time.
This week? Sausage Breakfast muffins, Italian stuffed meatballs & salad for lunches, and Low Carb Zesty Chicken Nuggets with a veggie for dinners.
I think I'm going to like this meal plan.
OK, time to go order seeds for my veggie garden this year. Most of what I'm ordering come directly from the ingredients for all the recipes I'm using. It should be fun!
