Wishing For Spring

I find myself REALLY ready for Spring.

I'm tired of the cold and rainy (sometimes snowy) weather, and I really just want the days to start warming up, with more and more sunny weather. I want to see the trees turn a fuzzy green as new growth begins to appear. I want to see crocuses peeking out from the ground, and forsythia bringing some sunshine down on earth.

Mostly, I want it to be warm and dry enough to start working my gardens and planting this years bounty.

Is it Spring yet?

How about now?

    Just came back from a walk with the dogs. We were nearly blown off the fields! My cheeks are frozen, my nose is running... WHEW, the weather!

    It CAN'T last much longer eh?

    I stopped wishing for Spring because I thought it would never come. It's been cold and snowy since late Nov. We've seen the ground once since then. For about 36 hours. Let's just say it was muddy and leave it at that.

    RYC: One super-soaker better have gas and the other fire.......

    Pardon me while I take off my cranky pants.
