Hubby and #3 are off for a Civil Air Patrol event and won't be back until late Sunday afternoon. #2 works swing shift and doesn't get home until after midnight, so I won't see him until tomorrow shortly before he leaves for his shift tomorrow afternoon. #1 is off for a movie night at his girlfriends house with her family and texted a while ago that it will be a late night.
So, it's just me and the dogs.
Have I mentioned before that both of the dogs are restless on the evenings that #1 is not home? They pace up to his room and whine, then pace down to the front door and whine. Then they ask to go out, and whine. Rinse, repeat. ALL FREAKING NIGHT UNTIL #1 GETS HOME. I've tried to engage them and distract them from the fact that "their boy" isn't home, to no avail. I do have them temporarily distracted with peanut butter, so I should have a good ten to fifteen minutes of peace.
Yep, I'm in for an interesting
